Can you turn off the lines that show up when you select a prim?

I'm finding it very annoying that when I'm trying to get 2 prims lined up spot on (to the nearest .001) that I have the glowing selection lines all around the faces of the object I'm adjusting.

Is there an easy way to turn these off, so when I'm doing the fine positioning I can actually see things rather than (as I have been doing) getting it close, then unselecting it, then reselecting it and moving a few .001 more for a few times as I can't see what I'm doing.

Thanks.

You need to change setting in debug menu and then restart....(selectionHighlightthickness from 0.01 to 0).

Is related Jira: http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-6918

Many thanks for that.

I will indeed try your suggesting, I was though kinda hoping (looks like I will be out of luck) for a method of just turning the "Selection" lines on and off easily "In World".

As (of course) it would be (could be) quite dangerous at other times, not being 100% sure which thing you are about to adjust.
