Issue with graphics card

ok ive googled for all issues like mine but couldnt find much,i am running windows vista with a gts 8800 geforce all drivers are uptodate no updates atm for vista but sl will not laod in saying my card is either out of date which i trippled checked and or that its not one of the cards that they suport but it is so if any one knows away to by pass sl so i can log back in i would love to know any way to fix this issue if not then my last step is to reinstall my os which i dont want to do.

Yes its common, if you dont uninstall vid card drivers before you install new ones, SL can give that annoying message.
