Hey all
Is anyone connecting through a socks proxy server? I'm having trouble connecting to the game world.
I can use the proxy fine for MMORPG's like lineage 2 etc...
Problem is I don't have access to the firewall i'm behind, and was hoping I could use the proxy server to negotiate around it.....

Try SocksCap, do a search on google. Think it was made by NEC before they spun it off to a child company.

I prefer an underwear proxy myself. But the damn gnomes keep stealing it.

Yeah I tried sockscap, but it's not a great program. I use hummingbird socks at the moment, which is much more effective, and allows other mmorpg's to connect but not second life  |
