Whenever I try to download the new version of SecondLife it installs almost until the end and then this pops up C:\Program Files (x86)\SecondLifeReleaseCandidate\app_settings\mozilla\components\xulutil.dll and more files that are missing...
How do I either A) Get those files or B) find a way around it?

How do I either A) Get those files or B) find a way around it? First, you ask smarter. Grovelling for help in an uninformative subject line, and not providing any details in the body will generally garner no useful replies out of any group. http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.htmlSecond, try uninstalling the previous version before installing the new one. Windows doesn't handle version control well on software, trying to install a new version of any software without removing the old version is generally bad news on that platform. Clean uninstall of old version, then install new one.

also the RC is not the newest version of SL
its a beta test, depending on how bad it does or does not suck in certain areas gives them clues on what features they want to include in the next version of the SL client
