Memory leak back in new 1.20 viewer?

Since upgrading to the required new 1.20.17 viewer, I am now getting out of memory errors. I can open task manager and just watch the RAM usage climb and climb, then after about an hour or so the viewer crashes with an out of memory error. I am using Windows Vista 64 bit on a Gateway FX gaming laptop with 4GB RAM and an Nvidia 8600 512MB discreet card. I have never gotten this error on this machine, it only started happening with the newest viewer. I have completely uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared cache, all the usual suspects. Anyone else?

Memory Woes Also

Yep having the same issues on my MacBook Pro (using Boot Camp and Win XP since the Mac client sucks lately)-- Core2 2.4 GHz, 2 GB RAM, NVIDIA 8600M GT. The time can vary from between 1 to 2 hours of use, but at some point SL totally consumes all the RAM and gives me the out of memory error.

This didn't happen in the 1.19 viewers (although I understand there were memory leaks in those from what I've heard from others-I never had any problems) and the current 1.20 version is the only game that kills my computer. Since I'm doing a lot of building lately and these memory issues tend to happen while I'm in the middle of a project I hope LL gets this mess sorted out soon.

Well, the memory leak never stopped. I had memory leak problems on my HP dv6000 laptop continuously, but the moment i switched to my new Dell XPS-420, running Vista, all memory leaks problems ceased to exist, and that happened while using the same version of the viewer on both machines.

That elusive memory leak is really a quirky thing.

lol what a shity thing sometimes cross the way, huh?

I still have my 2 years old desktop PC running without any troubles in any software. However, I got this "out of memory" message once with an older client version when I was roleplaying killing some bitches, so its not the version itself guessed. Can you please be more spezified when and where the message came up? As far as I remember, you still have some seconds time to react when the message comes up, so try to copy past the SIM and server info:

Look up your client menue under HELP/About SecondLife
