Is there any plans to to implement 3d input. Such as a Wacom 5D mouse, P5 Glove, or multiple point sensor grid. I know there is a good chance that this would just be a novelty, but maybe it's worth exploring.

Personally, I think they should be working on direct neural interface, with feedback, total immersion and life-support systems.

Philip did say "software first, then hardware"

I looked up the fifth dimension and it turns out you have to know the Lorenz Transformation and some stuff about special relativity, and maybe have the ability to travel between parallel universes. This seems like it would be a strange way to access SL!

Why isn't there ever any mention of perpendicular universes, like the one I'm from? What public relations companies do parallel universes use that we don't use, this is just so unfair!

I'm eagerly awaiting the new version of SL that allows us to access it in the fifth dimension. That way I can instantly move through time to a point where I have a lot more L$ and along a probability path where I end up with a vast amount of land and buildings.

Until then, I sell t-shirts in a small booth in Sage, come visit me!

You forget that it's possible that right now is the time when you'll have the most L$ and any time travel will only serve to make you poorer.

Einstein one said, "Time is only an elution created by the conversions of the states of energy." If one was to take Einstein rambling as scientific fact. There would be, what I think are some interesting implications. it is impossible to go back in time. The only particle application would be to create a small bubble were mass is so great the the conversions of the states of energy slow down. Thus it would seem as if the hole universe was speeding a head, but in reality it would be that the passenger has slow down. The one major problem with this form of time travel is that it requires such mass that the mortal human body would be crushed.
Ones mass is reduced to a normal level, and they travel could perceive the changes in the universe created though the effect known as time. Ie time travel, they would have no way to come back and tell any one of their success. But they could rearrange energy in such a way as to recreate what appears to be the pervious perceived time.

YES, hmd implementation would be a good idea. Like you would be able to enable the HMD then look around but still be able to use the mouse and keyboard, and ble able to toggle on and off being able to see stuff like the editor window, IM, stat windows etc. that woudl be such a nice feature. IMHO ;D
