Optimal DSL settings?

I had started playing with my net settings set to 500. I have a 1.5mbps down / 384kbps up DSL line and noticed a tremendous improvement when I started tweaking around with the custom settings.

Are there recommended settings for faster DSL lines? I did a quick search and didn't find anything on the topic.

Specifically, I have no idea if I should be giving more bandwidth to textures, water, sky, etc... any recommendations would be appreciated.
