I'm having a problem with the streaming audio in world. When I turn it on, it sounds choppy. Voice and streaming video are fine, it's only the audio that's affected. Here are my system specs.
Dell Inspiron 6000 Windows XP SP3 Intel Pentium M Processor 1.3 GHz 2.00 GB of RAM

I'm guessing the problem is in your SL network settings. Voice and video utilize other services, so it makes sense that they wouldn't necessarily be affected by the same issues as audio. Try upping your max badwidth, and see if it helps.
I'd also suggest making sure you've got the latest drivers for your network card, motherboard, and sound card. Judging by the specs you listed, it sounds like your computer is fairly old.
It may also be that your system is simply getting bogged down. You don't have much RAM, and the Pentium M was designed to maximize battery life, rather than performance. I'd like to believe you can solve the problem by tweaking some settings, but it's possible you might not be able to.
