Unable to upload error

All of a sudden, each time that I start up Second Life I get within minutes the following error message:

Unable to Upload 4e4b3a1d-a1d3-ac6c-1690-a74a5a85c73e due to the following reason: the server is experiencing unexpected difficulties. Please try again later.

I get it around three to five times after eachother each time with a different code/number. It doesn't matter what area I'm in in SL. I tried re-installing SL but I keep getting the same error.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

A lot of people are seeing this, and the error message isn't always correct. The upload may or may not have actually worked. Avatar baking ends in a series of texture uploads, that is why you may see it even you aren't actually uploading from the menu at the time.

Oh yeah: it's a server side problem, so don't bother reinstalling etc.

Then how can we fix it cause I have the same problem... It is really annoying

LL has to fix it, we can't do a lot about it.

Any clues as to when they espect to have it fixed? I wasn't able to find anything about it on the site. My hands are starting to shake with withdraw here! hehe

Apparently they've already started fixing it. My home sim had the problem for days and finally just cleared up.

Yes, I am also suddenly having this problem and shortly after it happens , I have a very hard crash that takes down my whole computer.

I have had this problem for over a week now and have found that when this error occurs, that I can see my clothes, skin, etc... but others can't. It isn't good to show up in a PG sim naked. I have also noticed its not the prim items like hair, shoes, etc. but the actual uploaded textures like the skins, shirts, pants...etc etc... So make sure you have clothing on before you pop in some place. Linden Labs, if you read these, please take care of this soon, my ticket is over a week old now and this is affecting my business here online.

Im having this issue aswell, Im getting so aggrevated with it. I get about 5-8 all in a row, and then it stops for like 10 seconds, and it does it again. Its really spoiling my enjoyment on SL right now. LL please will you fix it -_-

Try clicking Ctrl+Shift+4 (or is it 3?) that shows you many of the errors with uploads, packets out of order, bad texture hosting warnings etc..

Pity you cannot save/copy/paste that info.

Press the same key combi again to remove the info window.

~ try again another day really, its not your fault.

This error is caused by server version 1.27 and according to the release notes it will be fixed with 1.27.1 starting to be deployed tomorrow.

How about everyone else? I'm still having the darn error and I've quite had it with it.

For me it seems to be fixed. Uploading ARs at previously affected sims also works again.

Guess it is starting again cos I've been getting it for 3 days now trying to save config notecards n stuff. I can edit and save normal notecards containing text but as soon as I try to save a config NC for my vendors n stuff it happens. Sucks cos I can't do anything really

Weird thing is my landlord can do the same without problems on the same places I can't, annoys the crap out of me

Have you tried it from a different region?

edit: and, if you have, I'd suspect your firewall..
