Problem with scripts...

Hello, today I noticed that all objects that I have in my SIM (with this account) and scripts that are in my house in with my alter avi, do not run.

Simple scripts like "fire" (texture rotation), like waves (texture rotation or something like that), and others.....

I have tried everything. I restart my computer, I cleaned the cache, I restarted my SIM, I deleted the scripts and set them up again. But they are still not working. Somebody has an idea about this?

Thank you in advanced.

If you are on group-owned land, check that all your objects are set to that group (they don't need to be deeded, set is enough). In the past, if scripts were limited to the group, there was a bug that let some group members' unset objects run anyway, as long as those avatars were present. The 1.26 server fixed that bug, but the fix is catching some people by surprise now.

If this is the problem that got you, you can avoid it in the future by wearing your group tag before you rez stuff.

Problem continues...

ViKtoria, I thank you the advice, but no. I don't have any group set in my SIM and yesterday, or the day after yesterday, everything was working correctly. And, my alter avi has his home in another SIM far away from the one I own, and the problem it's the same.

Then I am wondering if it might be some debug or graphics setting that got messed up on the viewer side, given the examples you mention. If others visit those spots, do they also see the stuff as not working?

All better, the viewer needed a little kick.

Everything correct now...

Viktoria, thank you. All the problem was that "animated textures" were turned off, as long as I changed the parameter:

Advanced->Rendering->Animate Textures

to on, everything worked again.

Thank you Viktoria....
