Every time I try to start up SL, the window says SL (not responding)

Problems details state:

Description:
A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: AppHangB1
Application Name: SecondLife.exe

I run Vista and SL was working just fine for me for weeks and this happened first about a week ago...it was fixed seemingly by uninstalling and reinstalling SL. But now It happened again and I've done I've reinstalled again a handful of times and the trick just isn't working anymore. My drivers are updated and all...I am not too comp savvy but I did already did alot on online research and found nothing but recommendations to reinstall SL or update my drivers...those things are done and good....so now what?...please help!
thanks to all who respond!

Uninstall SL again but before you reinstall do a search of your hard drive for anything mentioning Second Life or SL and manually delete the files. And go to the website for your video card (or accelerator) and get a driver version a couple updates back............sometime the newest driver is the issue (especally lately).

And a little information about your computer, type of connection, operating system, video card, the version of the SL client you are attempting to use, etc would help a lot.

More information is needed, specifically what GPU do you use?
