Hello,

I BELIEVE I need what I hope is a rather simple hack of the client.

I ultimately need an application that will log in, read all the people in all the groups that my avatar is a member of, and export those into a text file, or better, an email.

Can anyone help me?

Can anyone point me to anyone else who can help me?

Thanks,

What you call a simple hack seems to me to be more than that. Guess you would need to find a forum for the Open Source folks.............explain what you are wanting and see what they think.

I don't see much success with your idea though..........logging in automatically, checking groups and emailing you seems a lot for a browser to do. But, I'm no coder. Try Googling Second Life Open Source viewers.

Group bots are pretty common, but a misuse will get you banned.

Destiny Niles,

I'm not worried about getting banned. I'm doing this by hand now to keep track of my groups via a spread sheet. I just want to speed up the process of exporting all the names in the group.

I'm not spamming or even posting those names anywhere so I don't think LL will care if I simply track people who are in groups I own.
