Was wondering if anyone could help me....I am ordering a new comp w/this graphics ...ATI Radeon HD3650 and wanted to make sure it is compatible with 2L? My old computer doesnt handle 2L so well so I need to upgrade. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If so, yes, it will handle SL just fine.
Make sure you're getting at least 2GB RAM, though. SL is RAM hungry, and can use close to that.

If you haven't made the comitment I would never buy an ATI card, period, to run inworld. You can look this up, throw ATI into the search string and see what pops up. It isn't good. As an ATI user with above min specs i wouldn't advise buying ATI, especially if you have other options.

I would recommend against the HD3650,
do a search for it on the forums.
Thats the card I am currently running and
I have the most strange problems with transparent avatars,
that did not exist before with the 1800xt I had...

Well im gonna half to dissaggree with u, by all means look up Ati and see. andu will notice lots of post with "Ati runs fine here, w/latest drivers" and such, and some with "ati is messing up, only old drivers work, yada yada" i think this goes both ways..ive have 2 ati rigs both worked fine with "9600 series, and a x1600 comp.. both ran just fine.. this is my first second nivida rig.. and i have the same amount of probs with SL as the next guy.. do a search for nvidia and see too not just ATi... theres alot more things that could equal your problems than just the Gpu, its hardware.. nothing will work when u want it to..
