I have always kept my textures in a folder in the Second Life Directoy on my computer without a problem. After loading Version .7, my texture forder was deleted! This never happened in any other version release, why did you add that "feature"?
I lost EVERY texture I ever created, stored, or was working on. I do have a commercial restore program that I am going to try and see if I can get my folder back, but if it doesn't work, I have 5 months worth of textures to recreate.
Thanks Lindens!!

wow, that sucks. i always keep my SL work far away from the SecondLife folder... i have a separate folder on a separate drive for all my SL work, and subfolders for textures and scripts and misc. notes. SL can't delete it if it don't know it's there sorry to hear you may have lost everything though

Tracey, I had the same thing happen... after freaking out a bit, I checked my trash can (recycle bin on Windows desktop) and found all my textures. You might want to check that out to see if you can find them. (:
Good luck!

Yes, it does suck......
You can believe now that my textures are no where close to the Second Life folder. I only have one hard drive, so I can't be as careful as you, but I don't think they will find it again.
Alek, That was the first place I looked, but not knowing about the texture folder, I had already cleared my Recycle Bin. But thank you for the suggestion.
BTW, I did manage to recover it all. I have a program called "Go Back", damn thing actually works!!
Again, thanks for your support. Misey DOES love company.
