Ok, I'm getting this error msg when I try to save scripts. I know that it isn't SL because I have tried on other computers and it works on them, it's just my notebook that's doing it.

This is the error:
Unable to upload C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\cache\e6af8e54-763d-af9d-ba1d-5c1301481346.lsl due to the following reason: The server is experiencing unexpected difficulties.
Please try again later.

This has been like this for almost 2 weeks, I have no idea why.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, looking for hidden files. Nothing.

help :(

Have you cleared the cache? Sorry if it's stating the obvious, but sometimes you miss the things under your nose...

Edit>preferrences>network tab and click "clear cache". You'll get a message that your cache will be cleared on the next log in. Okay that and relog.

Check your firewall and anti virus. It looks like the servers are not getting some files which may be something in your computer setup that is blocking something. I'm pretty sure your using Vista (from the path you gave in your initial post).........are you using Vista's firewall? I've used it before and it's not that bad but it does hiccup once in a while.

Just some ideas I'm tossing out. Might be worth looking into.

Is your notebook using a wireless network connection?

You might try clearing your cache again. And again.

I have a laptop on a wireless connection and I get this error once in a blue moon. Funny that teleporting to a different sim usually lets me compile the script with out problem.
If you're able to reliably debug this I would be curious for the results.

Yes I have a labtop that has Vista on a wireless network. I tried going to another sim and it let me save the script but when i go back to my island it doesn't let me. I use Norton, and I checked my firewall and it lets it through but I turned it off just in case and it still doesn't let me, how would i check Norton.

Get AVG free and uninstall Norton. :)

Unless Norton has changed in the last few months (which I doubt) it has been known to really interfere with legitamate downloads, saves, and changes you might want to do with your computer.
