Crash on startup

Hello I have just tried to login into second life after restarting computer for Service Pack 2 and on the loading page it gets to Prechaching normally and then all the sudden the music goes into 1 second loops for like 3 seconds and then the game crashes to desktop any suggestions?

Are you sure you're running the latest video, sound and motherboard chipset drivers? If you are, it could be a coincidence. Try uninstalling and reinstalling SL.

Strange it worked perfectly before now I uninstalled SP2 and it was running fine then it totally froze and I had to manually restart the computer. I started it up tryed to connect it gave me some flaot point error then it closed now it is going back to what it did before.

ok now it just gives me a floating point division error every time i try to connect. Also yes all my drivers are good to date.

You -did- of course scan your computer for spyware and viruses before installing SP2, right?

Virus are scanned daily but we were supposed to have a spyware check I probabbly got tons that I dont know about *runs for SBS&D* ill see how it goes but without sp2 its working fine right now.

What make and model of video card, sound hardware, motherboard, CPU and RAM do you have? It's possible there's a conflict with SP2.
