I can't download the excel spreadsheets of my detailed transactions from the website. When I click on the download excel speadsheet, it says it can't write to the cache. so i cleared the cache, which only had 400 files in it, and restarted ie. still same problem.

Just a stab in the dark, but maybe try rebooting your computer and going to the website and trying to do this with no other programs running. If that doesn't work, you might want to mention what browser and operating system you use so people who know more can help.

i use windows xp, IE like I mentioned in the first post.
I also tried using mozilla, it downloads a PHP file which is formatted as a table... IE doesn't know what to do with it.
It's not an excel spreadsheet, like the icon shows.

I use mozilla firefox and gave it a shot too. Try letting it open with excel instead of trying to save as.
