I mean this list of keywords & filtering is dumbfounding. Did Linden Lab take it to far? Why not just block people from going to the places through search? Why not allow people to see the shops window, just not let them into the shop?

Linden Lab should treat search more like Google, using unfiltered results because some non adult results will fall through the cracks. Honestly, this is a bad idea the way Linden Lab uses blanket filtering for adult content on a search level. There could be valid non adult results for some of those keywords.

Question: What would you do differently?





Side Note: I am all for the basic idea and principle for this move, and will not be negatively effected by the new Adult Content Filtering systems, but this is just getting silly.

Well, but triple ecks businesses want to use key words to advertise, so what else could be done rather than creating a list of identifiers?

Couldn't you have waited until Friday to start this thread?
