Okay, so my laptop is totally out of action, so I'm using a friends old laptop (presario2500?). I've just downloaded SL on here, but it keeps saying "SL is unable to run as your video card drivers are out of date or unsupported. Please make sure you have the lastest video card drivers installed."

Firstly - what are video card drivers? And what can I do about this? Or will I just not be able to get into SL :( (Getting withdrawl symptoms here)

Cheers.

Someone helped me reinstall it, and yay, can get into SL.

But now every time I log on SL crashes pretty much straight after I get in! Is anyone else having this prob? Or know how to fix it?

Try this site. Choose the free scan. It will scan your computer and all it's hardware for current drivers and return a list of the outdated drivers for everything. You don't need to know who or what your hardware is.......the scan will find it for you.

The scan is free but to download and update your drivers you must register and pay a nominal fee for unlimited updates for a year. But you can use the list to find the drivers you need and then go to the manufacturers website and get the free driver updates.
