Can't change "skin"...

or anything in that area including "skin color", "face detail", "makeup", and "body detail". Is this a bug or is there something I need to do? I already cleared the cache.

Are you trying to put on another skin or are you trying to edit the one you are wearing now?

:0 you might already have on a 'no modify' skin that prevents you from doing any editing in the 'appearance' window. (you -always- have on a skin and bodyshape, so you can't try to have 'no skin' or 'no body shape'... well actually you can have a 'blank skin' by making your own new skin and putting transparent textures in the face/upper/lower sections.)

but if you've put on a new skin and see no update, yah guess you're ahead of the curve on 'clearing cache'... if flashing to 'appearance' for a few secs then 'cancel'ling doesn't refresh you, then there's 'rebaking' your textures possibly; i got instructions here:

How do I take my current skin off? I think I remember loading someone's premade skin when I first started, and now I can't change anything about the face. You say there's a way to set "no skin" ?

You have to wear a skin. You cannot take off your skin, but you can change to a different skin. Serch your inventory for the word skin. You should find several. Double-click on one and your skin will change to the new one you double-clicked. Try several until you find one you like.

You can also pick up new skins from various places for various prices starting at free and going up from there if that is something you need.

Just put on another skin and give at a few seconds to load.It'll come eventually.Or,try dropping it and relogging in.That should do it.
