This has only just happened.

I was sitting on a poseball.

Got up, and created a block whislt I was adjusting the dims of the object a red puff was coming from the middle of it.

then looked outside at some flying birds and they were leaving a short blut trail in the sky behind them

A bit when you have highlight transparent.

But I'm seeing red and blue trails and puffs in the air when I guess) transparent things are happening.

I've not touched any settings since last night and it was fine then.

anyone knowwhat's causing this?

Thanks

Ive just done a screen grab

You can see the blue trail left by a bird in the sky

And also the red/blue puffs that are covering butterflys on the ground.

Obviosuly it's something to do with transparancy

Anything that is moving seems to have a blue trail

As I zoom into somehting it does give a red look puff at 1st, but as I say it settles to blue afterwards.

Just one more follow up.............

I think I'm seeing scripts. (what the blue is)

Standing at a door, when I click on the door, I see two of 3 small blue puffs come from the hindge prim as it rotates to open the door

And again, 2 or 3 small puffs when it rotates to close the door.

Try un-clicking show all updates to see if that gets rid of the blue.
Then do a control alt T and see if that gets rid of the red.

That's all I have.

*bump* :).

(Advanced /uncheck Show Updates btw. If you don't have the Advanced menu use Ctrl-Alt-D to make it show)

Red is full updates.
Blue is partial updates.
Green is a deletion "update".

Judging from his screenshot he doesn't have Highlight Transparent enabled so turning it on would just cause another problem :).

Excellent.......

Many thanks to you both.

It was indeed Show Updates under the Advanced menu

No idea how that got highlighted as I'd swear I never selected it.

Phew. thank goodness that was all it was.

On a related note, and, as you can mess about with so many settings in the SL client.

If there anywhere/anyway that you can set everything back to default?
