can't turn on local lighting

When I click the local lighting checkbox and then click ok, if I open up the preferences again, the box is unchecked. Because of this i can't get local lighting to work.

Anyone else with this problem?

ok nm i just got it to work :P

incase anyone has this problem too, all you have to do is not re-open the preferences before relogging. :D
