crashing everytime

ok i just downloaded SL, and its taking like 2 or 3 trys just to log into the world then when i get there the second i move a little it crashes, it had done this everytime about 7 or 8 times now
computer is
1.6 p4
512 ram
geforce 4 128 meg vid card with brand new drivers

ive tried uninstalling it and it doesnt change anythign at all
so any ideas to help me?

I guess the same advice goes for whenever these problems crop up.

What kind of graphics card have you got? Do you have the most recent drivers for it, your motherboard chipset, AGP, soundcard,...
