For the past week or so every time I log in, a message is sent to my email account (like a forwarded IM) that says, "John Walton has offered to become your friend in Second Life. Log in to accept or decline the offer." I see nothing about this in-world - but that figures, since you can't offer friendship to yourself.
I've cleared cache - no difference.
Any suggestions of the cause, or how to stop this minor annoyance?
