Ive recently become aware that someone i know has been hacking my email passwords and screen names etc, im certain of this,my latest worry if he has hacked my second life accounts or not, now i can not access secondlife for a couple months until i find a new living arrangement, but im wondering is there a way i can check with someone in linden labs or what, i want to know when the last time my account was used without logging into it, and if he has logged on to it,if i can get his ip address shut down,im not sure how secondlife or lindenlabs handles security issues, but anyone with knowledge of my situation can u please tell me what to do,or what u would do,thank you!

Have an in world friend that is in a group with you have a look at the group members list.
When they look at your name it will tell them when you logged on last.

Hope that helps, Q

Alternatively to Qyv's suggestion, but along the same lines, simply create an alt, invite it into one of your groups, and then use the alt to keep tabs on the logins from your main account.

If you can access these forums, you can log into the rest of the website and change your password via the My Account page. Do that from a virus-free computer that you don't normally use (e.g. library), erase the browser's cookies and history, and shut the browser down. You should be fine.

Isn't this a crime these days? Maybe call the police, or the local District Attourney.

Wouldn't that burn this so-called friend 8-)

Just get a new Gmail Address.

They're free.

Then change your SL Account to that email addy.

Then go and change your SL Account Password.
