A friend of mine wants into SL but he can't get it to work on his machine.
He thinks it's because he can't do 32bit graphics modes, only 16 and 24 bit.
Any tips for him getting SL to work?

It looks like SL will refuse to run unless your GPU is in 32-bit mode. I think your friend's video card must be very old or cheap not to run in 32-bit mode. Maybe it is time for him to consider an upgrade?

Must be a new thing, I ran SL in 256 color mode a couple months ago. It sucked, the pallete was all wrong so it looked like I just ate a magic mushroom or something.
