Hello and good morning, I have been logged from my account fifteen times this morning when trying to teleport. Is Second Life having issues again today? Anyone else having problems? Does anyone have a fix?
I have tried detaching all huds, flying before teleport, nothing works I get about halfway through the bar of teleport and than am logged out...but it does allow me to teleport to my home but nowhere else. I am just having this problem today.

teleporting is rather bandwidth hungry. make sure your connection is happy. restart your router and make sure your not wireless.
hope that helps

I'm having that issue today too - as are a lot of people I know in SL. Not sure why, but things have been really laggy over the past 24 hours (connection lag - packet loss stuff, not framerate lag).

well thank you both for your reply. I have never had a problem before today.I am a T1 connection so I know its not my connection, neither am I wireless, but do have a router for the wireless in the house, for giggles I reset it............and went about my day...I come back a couple hours later and its still not working.
Thank you Trent..I sure appriciate your reply, while it does make me feel better to know its not just me, it discourages me that Second Life has nothing on the grid status page about problems today other than groups not showing up...?????
Sure hope this gets fixed soon, I was going to look for some land but think I will keep my money in my pocket where it is not being thrown away becasue my pocket is stable 24-7.....*smiles*

I have found that getting rid of Mono scripted attachments really helps teleport reliability and reduces sim crossing lag. If you have an AO the scripts should be full perm (if they're based on Franimation Overrider or one of its descendants like ZHAO), make sure the "mono" checkbox is empty... if not uncheck it and save the script, then detach and reattach the attachment to make sure it "sticks".

*smiles* Thanks again for your advice...I did download it, and it is a nice viewer but I am still having the same problem....*sniffles* I have done everything but reformatt this computer. Virus scan comes up clean...What I can not figure out is if it is on my end why does my alt work? And also I should add that when I try to search land for sale it says searching.....but nothing ever shows up on both viewers and on both main and alt. If I knew it was on my end I would actually reformat and move closer to the router, but I have never had a problem before today and thats ALOT of hassle...*giggles* any other advice would be greatly appreciated..and thank you very much to those who have offered advice...hope to meet you in game...*grins wickedly* ON MY MAIN!

Double/triple check all your wires. Even swap out the one from puter to connection. I really feel bad for you, this can not be fun at all...=C If you have no attachments on, it almost has to be networky. my best guess.
