tryn to buy please help

sorry for opening a new thread its because tomorow im gonna get new card,right now i have a geforce 8800 gt but im thinking about geting NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280 or NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX , but i wanna know if im gonna be able to use any of those cards here,and also if is a big diference beetween the them 2 and the one i have now 8800 gt

Your 8800 GTX should run at least as good as my 8600 GT. With everything maxed except draw distance (I have mine at 256 meters) I can consistantly get 30 to 40 FPS in a quiet sim and 20 in a fairly busy one. Unless the grid is lagged I really don't have any excessive lag to deal with. I don't see where you would have much improvement, visually, with either new card. 30 FPS is fluid motion.

But, if you are like me.......you'll get one anyway LOL. I think both work fine with SL. :)

yes im crazy when it comes to graphic cards...mine is a 8800 gt,but people on my job keep tellin me that the new 200 and the 9 series are so much better...lol i just wanna make sure they gonna work on sl....plus how about the power suply for those kind cards...i know my dell xps 410 wont hold those so i need to put a new stronger power suplie on it,how much of power those cards gonna need?

Be sure to post back here with your findings - I'm very interested to hear. I have an 8800 gtx and have read varying reviews on the difference between that and the new cards. I think the 280 is probably the one to get - but for god's sake don't listen to me (I don't know a thing).
