I get jittery video sometimes and it's very irratating. I tried adjusting graphic settings, but that doesnt help. I read some early posts from over a year ago about jittery video. I didn't understand what they were talking about or where those settings are. Can someone help me with detailed steps of things to try.

Have you installed the latest version of Quicktime® ? If not, you should do so here : http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

I just updated Quicktime. I only allowed Quicktime associations to be used by it. I'll post later after I get in world and see how it is.

After being on for a while last nite, the problem is still there..the jittering seems to start if I'm been on a while. Last nite was the worst I've seen it. A relog doesn't help but I did a PC restart which did help... but the problems still needs fixing.

Ok..I found out about setting SL infinity settings and setting the priority to above normal. This is accessed through task manager, processes tab. Right click SL fron the list of proccesses and select infinity. Uncheck one of the proccessors (dual corre only) and then right click on SL proccess again and set the priority to above normal...This fixed my jittery video problem..so far

I run dual both cores never an issue better performance. this sounds GPU related , that fixes it thats great, but are you loosing any FPS? I do if I goto single core and set the peiority above norm. almost sounds like the GPU is getting hot . what driver do you have installed for the 8800? I know there were issues with the 175.?? similar. power supply ? is it big enough? that could be as well by turning off one of the CPU cores sending what the GPU needs? ok now I'm grasping at straws, I just know that the dual core causing trouble was fixed a long while back (it was an issue before) I guess if its working thats but you shouldn't need to kill a core to run one above norm and have SL eating 99% of the thing.
