Disabling Paletized Textures on startup?

I'm running into the paletized textures bug. Turning it off and rebaking works but it's a pain and I can't seem to use the keyboard shortcuts for it. I have to change the setting every time. Is there a way to turn this off on startup?

Thanks in advance

Do you have the Advanced menu showing? You would need this showing in order to use the keyboard shortcut. You toggle the Advanced menu on and off with Control Alt D, or in some cases, Control Alt Shift D.

What operating system are you using? I ask this because it might have some bearing on being able to use the keyboard shortcut.

What version of SL?

For some folks with nVidia graphics, the palletized texture problem can be solved by using an older version of nVidia driver, such as version 175.16 or version 175.19 . This may not be possible in some cases depending on the card, whether it's a laptop, 64bit OS, etc.

You might also be able to solve this problem by using the latest Release Candidate SL viewer instead of the regular viewer.
