Allright, assuming that my root object is the yellow one amongst the lump-o-prims that is my group... how come I cannot link a 34th prim to that group even when the new prim is right next to the yellow one in the group without getting the Link failed -- pieces too far apart error? What on earth am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure of the exact math, but I believe the problem has to do with the size and proportionate distance of all the components of a linked set, not just the root.
