SLs system requirements page says these(among others) video cards are compatible with SL:
ATI Graphics Cards
* X800, X900, X1600, X1700, X1800, X1900 * x2600, x2900 * x3650, x3850
Does anyone know...is an ATI Radeon X1300 compatible? I know its an older card, but it would work in my computer and is better than what I have now..lol
Thank you for any info...

well while its not offically "on the list", the list is missing a ton of video card models that work just fine with SL googling the subject brings up a blog or 2 with users liking their pci-e version just fine and on jira, eventho its part of a bug report ... From: Brad Linden - 06/May/08 02:37 PM I have tested this build on our Radeon X1550 machine with catalyst 8.4 and the problem does not happen.
and later on he states that the bug does not happen on a pci version of the card either so i would say its a safe bet alternitivley newegg has some pci 256mb geforce 6200's for about the same price, altho not nearly as fast (core speeds 200mhz less than the x1550, and the same ram speeds as the x1300) edit nm

Lord I've been talking to people so much about this situation.....I feel like I'm being a pain in the butt.....lol
I need to go back and bump my original question.
Does anyone know specifically yes or no to whether or not the ATI Radeon X1300 is compatible with SL? They mention all the ones "around" it as being compatible.......
ATI Graphics Cards
* X800, X900, X1600, X1700, X1800, X1900 * x2600, x2900 * x3650, x3850
so......what about the x1300?
Sorry to be a pain but...I'd like to find out before I buy one.
Thanks, Mack

Those are the "recommended" cards, not an all inclusive list of compatible cards. The minimum requirement listed for ATI cards is "Radeon 8500, 9250 or better". The X1300 and X1550 are both better, so they're compatible with SL.
They won't run SL as well as cards on the recommended list, but they will run it.

Okay..thank you Milla.
It might be better than what I have at the moment, so if I can find one without paying alot, I'll try it.
Thanks again everyone. You've been very helpful, and I appreciate i!!
