Does anyone know if its beneficial to run SL with SLI enabled? if so what are the best settings in the nvidia control panel to get optimal performance?

I use SL with SLI on my laptop, and very occasionally on my desktop. (Usually I've got SLI disabled on the desktop because I use multiple monitors.) There are no special settings required. All you need to do is turn it on.
Keep in mind mileage seems to vary considerably from system to system. Some people report a definite increase in speed (I get around a 30% boost to FPS on my desktop with SLI enabled, and about 10% boost on my laptop), while others report no change at all, and still others actually report a decrease. The only way to know how well it work on your machine is just to go ahead and try it.
