Well, think i'm screwed but want to make sure. I just bought an asus 11.6" netbook with atom processor to do simple sl stuff on the go, but I'm getting the dreaded video card is old/not supported message when i try to boot up.
Are there any workarounds?
Many thanks to anyone who has any ideas!!

Not sure which video card you have, but I know that on one of my old laptpas (over 7 years old) it has the Intel Video chip and the windows xp drivers that I've download from the video card website worked. On my newest laptop with Nvidia chip it works great. I have another system with ATI, it worked fine with Windows XP with the lastest driver but doesn't work at all with Vista nor Windows 7.

Thanks Destiny! It's an intel graphics card - need to check which one. Pretty sure it's not the 945. Oh, and it vista home basic.

You might also want to try the "-noprobe" option. Edit your SL shortcut and add -noprobe to the end. It's suppose to bypass the hardware check. I say suppose because on my system I still got the hardware failure message.
