I am thinking to buy a new graphics card, but i am afraid it might not work, i have already read the system requirements, but there's nothing said about the 9 series, i am confused now, because i really want to enjoy SL to the fullest  any suggestions? thanks |

The series that LL lists are the series of the various cards that they have tested and found to be capable of working with SL. So don't take that list as being current in any way.........it's practically impossilbe anyway. I'm pretty sure the 9800 will work fine..........in fact, I intend to get one soon myself. However, one thing I've learnded from past experiences is to keep the old card (as long as you are not replacing it because it failed or fried or something) so I can go back to it if necessary. But, there have been posts in this section of people having quite good success with that card. My thoughts are "if they can do it, so can I". |
