Hi, I have an ATI RADEON 9700, but the check box to enable AGP Graphics Acceleration (faster) is grayed out.
I am using the latest OMEGA drivers, can anyone help me with this problem?

I am using the latest OMEGA drivers, can anyone help me with this problem? Linden Lab disabled ATI Radeon AGP support in SL v1.3.0 because of a reported instability with Catalyst versions >4.2. No fix or date for a fix has been announced. Yet.

You need to use the EPSILON drivers instead, they should work right for you.

Are the EPSILON drivers a third party driver for use with Radeon cards? If so, how stable are they in comparison to the manufacturer's drivers?

Searched google for these mysterious Epsilon drivers but to no avail. What are they? Where are they? (Link?) I assume they are built from the official ATI drivers - so how come they allow you to turn on AGP Acceleration? Will turning on this option provide me with a performance boost? Thanks in advance for any info Cheers, - Fade
