Missing Cam Controls & Movement Controls (not in View or lost on screen): Help!

Accidentally hit Release Keys and lost HUDs and Camera & Movement Controls (doh!). I recovered HUDs quickly, then went to View to reinstate the Cam & Movement arrows: says they are on but they are not visible! Tried editing preferences to make the UI bigger so I could see if they got lost on screen, but they are no where to be found. Cleared cache, rebooted, all of those things. I know I can use keyboard shortcuts but I want the arrows back. Help please!
