Okay, this is seriously the worst.
To count up my prims for my build in Lindenworld, I was told by the Lindens to fly high, set my camera to aerial view, then select all and poof I'd get the cost of my build. Divisible by 10, that should give me my prim number.
Well, it worked the other day, when there wasn't so much lag.
Today, I don't know what it is, but Second Life has been a shambles as far as lag has been concerned. From what I hear, others have felt it today as well. But did it cost them their build? That's what I'm curious about.
So in attempting to tally my prims, which wasn't working because the Select All feature (Ctrl+Shift+click+drag) was only selecting the top part of my build. And, somewhere along the line, a massive wave of lag attacked me, wherein I apparently shrunk various portions of the top of my build. A simple Edit>Undo would fix that, right? nope. Because this wave of lag also pushed my prims over. Multiple times. Un-undoable. And, considering this is a "boxed in" project with an extra "shell" of prims on the outside, you best believe that with the camera jumping outside my build while I'm working on it in the inside and having to work on placement on the in and outside of the build I'm going to be spending a -damn- long time realigning everything.
Considering there's a deadline on Monday, this is horrendous. Now, I can't see myself remotely being finished by then, and I really wanted to be able to show my build off at the right time. A few textures and details and I would have been finished; now, I have to restructure my entire build from the inside rather than the out.
Who else had this problem today?
