OK here's the problem. I have a friend that registered for SL yesterday, but he can't get in due to SL crashing when it says initilizing world! He sent several bug reports to LL (feliks statosky)

VID: Asus 4800 TI 128 megs
RAM: 1 gig
Anyideas on what he could change to get in? I tried with him to set all the settings to basic like no light... nothing! Still... boom!

Did he upgrade all his drivers, (especially motherboard chipset!) DirectX, BIOS, etc?
Is he on a wireless network? If so, does it work when he's actually plugged in directly? Wireless networks suck. A lot.
What kind of internet connection does he have? What version of Windows is he running?

he's on the same stuff as me! router cable, Win xP
His drivers though... I don't know id have to ask... he doesn't like doing that stuff!
