Got an error...need help.

I d/led the game, installed ok...Win2000 professional, pIII 850mhz, 512 ram.

When trying to launch the game via the icon, I get the following error:

"newview.exe - Ordinal Not Found

The ordinal 12 could not be located in the dynaimc link library DSOUND.dll."

I would greaty appreciate any assistance in this matter.

I believe I saw this error on the website, go under Service & Support and go to Knowledge Base and look it up...has something to do with Direct X, I think.
