I would like to know .. if anyone else experienced this today . i crashed .. hard while at Sintimacy lol... and when i logged back in .. it cleared my cache forever which I did not initiate then once in sl it was as if it was my first time .. all the help tools were telling me what an im is . whats my inventory for ..... etc etc and .......... how to use media .. did i want media .. the interesting thing too is my Advanced menu was gone ..
what would cause that ? something i did ?
any clues .. because im totally baffled

It sounds like your crash took out a few of your files. The preferrences XML being one of them. It's happened to me before. Those files are rebuilt upon your next launch of SL but all the settings are back to default. It also seems your cache file was deleted too.........I'm basing that on the clearing cache message you saw.
All's probably well now........I wouldn't worry about it.
