I don't know if this is the correct place to ask, but I have trouble with, well, mostly with objects I have that I want to sit on. If I want to sit in an arm chair, I often end up on the arm, or on the back, hee hee, is there any way to force my butt smack dab in the middle of the seat? It works better if the chair is over-sized or a couch, but I like the look of a chair that fits.
Anyone know what I might be doing wrong? It is possible to sit propperly, but not 100% of the time, which is annoying me.
Thanks tons, Ingie

If you can modify the object, look at the documentation for llSitTarget(). This is a miracle for chairs and other sitables.
Other than that, it sometimes helps if you are hovering when you try to sit.

You might also benefit from looking at llSetCameraAtOffset() and llSetCameraEyeOffset() and the changed(CHANGED_LINK) event. These work with sitables for extra flavor.
