Here is my current problem with SL that I have been trying for the last 2-3 days to get fix:

I enter my accuont name, password ect. and after SL has log me in, then I can't do anything there. I can't move, see my av, TP, look in my inv, basicly NOTHING. I open the Lag Meter and the Staticbar and can see that I have a Ping sim on 1000, then it jumps to 10000 and forces me to logout. on the Lag Meter its red out for the Network and the text there is saying this:

"Connection ping is over 600ms. Possible bad connection or file-sharing app."

I'm like WTF. I don't have any file-sharing app running and how can it be my connection went I can run msn, internet brower, other online games with no problem at al??

I have send LL a ticket about this, but hasn't recive any answer yet, so therefor I'm asking you others SL user outthere if you know what could be causing this problem.

you obviously have a connection problem.

maybe you're on an open wireless network (not officially supported by SL, by the way) and someone else is using it at the same time without your knowledge?

could you provide more details about your connection? example:
- are you using ethernet cable for your LAN or not
- ping time to important websites
- download speed (there are websites that let you check it)

Because we ain't mind readers. You obviously have a connection problem. There are any number of potential sources for you problem but we have no where to start.

System specs, how you connect to the internet, are you on a network, are you wireless, are you hardwired. Those would, at least give someone a direction to start.
