System information and a more detailed description of the problem would be a logical starting point.
You can get info about your system in the Help / About Second Life dialog. You can copy the system info text from there and paste it into the forum post. What kinds of sounds are missing? Interface, voice, music streams, or what, exactly? Are your speakers turned on? Are your headphones plugged in but not being worn? _____________________

i dont have any sound no streams nothing yes my computer speakers work n no head phones.

Do you get sound with other programs or is this only in SL?
Try: http://www.theradio.com/ Put in a song title and see if you hear it. If you do then we at least know your audio works. And your problem would be something in your viewer set up (possibly something in your local network, but less likely). Right now we don't know anything.....not enough clues from you yet. |
