Hi Anyone know the status of the iPhone app for SL? Ive seen something resembling a 3D representation on you tube but thats it. Any idea if SL is available on any other phones?

You can use a VNC to stream SL to most smartphones (SL is running on your main PC, video is streamed to the phone, and controls are relayed back). See http://www.parystec.com/ptatsl.htm for this approach.
Comverse has demoed a similar approach (much like Vollee, which seems to have disappeared) that runs SL and other applications on a central server instead of a home PC. The demos look promising, but no word on if or when it will become available.

Thanks again veritable, anyone with any news of app for iPhones or other smartphones? I heard there was a 2d version with limited functionality, and same Japanese company (Genkii) is looking to release 3D version shortly(?) also their own online 3D world for iPhones called "Sparkle"
