I keep falling asleep

No, that's not an indication of boredom on my part while playing the game! My avatar keeps falling asleep, like every 10 seconds or so. I'm told that when it happens I have "away" (or is it "afk"?) after my name.

I checked the gestures to see if there was a default keystroke command setup that I was hitting by accident that was setting me away, but there isn't...

Any ideas?

I thought that was purely inactivity. Anytime I so much as press a key in that state it wakes me up.

I wasn't inactive for very long at all -- 5 to 10 seconds, max, I think. Unless just chatting is considered inactive?

I don't get set away while I'm coding and I do that for half hour - an hour without doing anything in world.

Chatting is considered an activity, any type of key or mouse movement, for that matter, is considered an activity. So if you are typing at all, you should not be going away. Also, I know that I can leave my Av alone for quite some time before they go away because of the timer.

I was really hoping someone would say "oh yeah, that was happening to me too, until I did X..."

So ... who's going to script up a no-doze patch for me?

lol shebang - i wish i could say that to you but i'm not sufferin from narcolepsy. the best advice i can give is to submit a log to [email]peter@lindenlab.com[/email] so the programmers can try to figure out whats goin on. I've never seen it happen be4.
