System information would quite likely be useful.
Brand and model of computer, desktop or laptop, operating system, amount of ram, type of video card, amount of video ram, version of video driver, are you on a network, if so wired or wireless, are you in a dorm or some other special sort of place, version of Second Life.
Stuff like that.

One approach to finding your system information would be to google for
how do i find my system information
or just
system information tools
and check out the search results.
Another approach would be to use the forum search, searching for
system information
or
system specs
Every version of Windows, Mac OS, and Linux come with system information tools built in.
In windows, you can use the help and support function - search for system information.
In windows, try Accessories, System Tools, System Information.
You shouldn't have to look up whether you live in a dorm, whether your computer is on a network, etc.
In Windows hyou can find info about your display by right clicking the desktop and selecting properties.
You error message suggests that you don't have a suitable video card, or that your driver is corrupted, etc.
You could google for
can you run it
and take the link that leads to a site that checks your computer for compatibility with various programs.

open Sl and before you log in, go to preferences and lower your graphics. there are some settings in there, something is conflicting. See if that lets you log in.. and you can adjust from there. Sometimes windows does auto upgrades, and you may have gotten an upgraded driver that conflicts with sl. Good luck

What people are trying to tell you, apparently too subtly, is that WE CANNOT HELP YOU UNLESS YOU POST YOUR SYSTEM SPECS HERE.
