The region you entered is running a different simulator version.
What the hells all this about?
I stopped getting this a few weeks back, but now I'm seeing it again and again.
Normally on a group of private openspaces. when I cross a boundry line between 2 sims (both owned by the same people)
Why do we get this message?

It's because we are in the middle of a rolling restart. It will calm down in a couple of hours.

More specificaly, it is becuase the server you are connected to is running a diferent version of software then the last one you are connected to.
In second life they have to put out new servers in waves, not all at once.

In second life they have to put out new servers in waves, not all at once. Yeah, I gathered it means it was running a different version of the software. I just wondered what this meant in real terms. I know we get new versions of the client (as we have one now being tested) so, do I therefore assume that this is the same at the other end. Happens how and again and is onlya temporary thing the goes away after a while?
