Audio Setting in Preferences

DEAR GOD I WILL BE DEAF!

In preferences under audio, under streaming volume. The defaulted is set all the way to max. I keep lowering the setting ( sliding it to the left) apply ok, exit. If I leave the lot with the stream or I have to relog. The setting reverts back to max. I dont think we should have to reset Preferences this much. PLUS! if you go to some thing like Yahoo chat, it seems to get loud again. Doug save my hearing PLEASE!. I love the streaming music, just not so loud in my headset that the ppl on the next floor can hear it.

And, on the main panel control (not preferences) if I chose to "STOP" music, keep it stopped, dont start it up again if I go to another plot playing music.
