This is a little strange.
I've been making my way through the RC clients for about as long as they've been doing RC clients. Haven't had any trouble to speak of.
Last week when they updated the standard client, I installed it, and had no troubles.
Yesterday, I logged in with the starndard client, and had a lot of lag. So I tried relogging and got a crash message. I got an error message that said something about closing down OpenGL acceleration due to compatibility issues, and reccomended updating the drivers.
SO, I've reinstalled the drivers, (which WERE up to date.) And SL, and SL still crashes on startup.
My video card is a 7600gs with 512m memory.
The last RC still runs fine, fwiw.
Anyone familiar with this issue? The last time something like that happened to me it was driver issues with Vista and my ATI card. (I replaced the ATI card with the Nvidia, and now I'm running XP again.
